At LSBU we take the safety of our students seriously, and we want to help you feel safe around alcohol. Unfortunately, drinking alcohol increases the risk of being spiked. Whilst this is never your fault, there are some things you can do to help reduce the risk.
DrinkAware recommends the following to protect yourself:
• Never leave your drink unattended
• Don’t accept drinks from people you don’t know
• Avoid too much drinking by sticking to the
UK low risk drinking guidelines• Stick together with friends and look out for each other.
