If you need to travel back home during your course, then as a Student Visa holder there are some factors you need to consider.
You must contact the Visa Engagement Team by submitting an enquiry (log in to MyAccount, if you haven’t already) and choose the topic Immigration & Visa.
The Visa Engagement Team will respond to your request with a decision if you will be permitted to travel abroad during your course and for how long. Prolonged absence during term-time is not permitted, so you may be advised to interrupt your studies instead.
Failing to inform the Visa Engagement Team of your request to travel could have an impact on your attendance, which may also have an impact on your Student Visa.
Absences over a week will require evidence and flight details if applicable.
